ABOUT

The Digital Pen, established in April 2000, is owned and operated by Jarratt Bryan, a Florida native, but a Roman since 1995.  In 1992, Jarratt graduated from Florida State University and in 1998, he completed his Master's degree in Technical and Professional Communication from Southern Polytechnic State University (now Kennesaw State University) in Marietta, Georgia.

From 1993-95, Jarratt was the sole reporter for The Walker County Messenger, a small newspaper in Northwest Georgia. In 1995, he went to work for Learning Labs, Inc. as a curriculum writer. Soon thereafter, he was promoted to Development Manager, where he managed writers and developed technical curriculum for middle and high school students.  Part of that job required manipulating photos, which is where he discovered the joy of fixing old, damaged pictures.  At Learning Labs, Jarratt now splits his time between technical writing and Kentucky Regional Manager.

The Digital Pen treats each and every photo, slide, and VHS tape as it if were their own.  These items never leave our office and are returned to the customer along with the restored pictures or photo collages.

Contact us if you'd like to be given an estimate on a damaged picture, or to discuss any other service we provide.

Please note that because we're a home-based business, we meet folks at convenient locations around Rome and surrounding areas.  For example, Jarratt often picks up and delivers photos, VHS tapes, DVDs, etc. at the Rome Braves stadium.
